Maybelline Super Stay 24 Hour Foundation, Revlon Photoready, and Maybelline Matte and Poreless |
The Maybelline Matte and Poreless Foundation has been my go to. I’ve really enjoyed using this liquid foundation this year. I believe this is one of the lightest shades.
The other foundation I’ve really liked this year is the Maybelline Superstay 24-Hour Foundation Stick. I got this when it was first released, but it’s only been recently that I’ve used it. This stuff has great coverage and really knows how to stay put. It went through a cry test when I went through a particularly bad breakup and the makeup held its ground. The attached sponge is pure crap, but the makeup is good. I’m not sure it’s really worth its $11.99 price tag unless you need something that is next level fantastic.
The Revlon Photoready Translucent Powder has been well loved. I’ve almost hit pan on the product. This was the first time I’d seen a translucent powder in a pan and I really liked how convenient it is. I think the product does its job. The product has a light amount of shimmer in it that doesn’t show up when applied.

L'Oreal Galaxy Stick, Covergirl Peach Palette, and Jordana Triple Play in Petal Pink |
The Covergirl Peach Palette has seen a lot of use from me. I’ve used the blush and highlight, but I haven’t really used the other shade. I absolutely hate the smell of this. The peach scent is incredibly too strong. The highlighter is a beautiful duochrome. This isn’t the usual highlighter shade I would wear, but I still really like this. There’s something unique but still natural about it. I don’t usually wear natural highlighters, but I feel this one is something special. I also like using these two as eyeshadow. I usually put the blush on the crease and outer corner with the highlighter going in the middle and inner corner. This highlight is easily sheered out on the cheek bones or built up on the lids. This is a nice, multi-use product.

Covergirl Peach Highlighter Palette (left) and Jordana Triple Play in Petal Pink (right) |
The Jordana Triple Play in Petal Pink is a great color. I feel like this is really similar to the blush in Covergirl and one person probably doesn’t need both. This product is supposed to be good for use on the eyes, cheeks, and lips. I’ve never used this on the eyes, but I like using this on the lips. More than anything, I like using this on the cheeks.

L'Oreal Infallible Galaxy Stick in Astro Blue (left) and Covergirl Peach Highlighter Palette (right) |
The L’Oreal Infallible Galaxy Stick in Astro Blue. This stick highlighter is a duochrome in blue and purple. The highlighter is beautiful and incredibly intense. I’ve liked this highlighter since I first bought it and I’ve seriously considered buying the other two colors.

Too Faced Angel Tears, Fairy Tears, Unicorn Tears, Mermaid Tears and Mac Lavender Jade |
There are five lipsticks that I’ve really enjoyed this year. Four of them are from Too Faced: Angel Tears, Fairy Tears, Unicorn Tears, and Mermaid Tears. I also really like the Mac shade Lavender Jade which I got for my birthday. The Mac shade is a beautiful and intense purple. All five of these lipsticks are worth the price.
