Mac Spellbinder Shadow Review

So, this is different.  These are pigments, but they aren’t quite loose.  These pigments have been magnetized so that they stick together.  These shadows are available in eight colors, mostly darker shades.  They are mostly smokey shades perfect for fall and winter time.

Assuming these shades are consistent across the collection, than they are all long-lasting and provide little fallout.  The magnetization insures that the particles of each shade stick together.  They maintain their ‘lined’ shape in the jar no matter how many times they are used.  These will stay in place practically until you remove them.

These are $22 a piece and it’s recommended you use them with a brush.  Mac recommends their own 283 Duo Fibre Small Eye Shadow Brush.  The thing I love most about these is how they feel.  They have this amazing smooth feel to the touch.  They have an almost velvety feel to them.

Mac Spellbinder in Blue Karma

Blue Karma is a gray teal color.  You could consider this the lightest shade in this collection and my personal favorite.

Mac Spellbinder in Mysterious Influence

Mysterious Influence is a gold-green color.

Dynamically charged is a taupe bronze.

Higher power is a dark brown.

Mac Spellbinder in Gravity's Pull

Gravity’s Pull is a dark, smokey purple.

Cosmic Clash is a dark, smokey green.

Mac Spellbinder in Aphrodisiatic

Aphrodisiatic is a dark cobalt blue.

Retrograde is a dark gray black
